The Tennessee Titans have been struggling this season but it seems like wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will be available tonight against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hopkins missed yesterday’s practice with a toe injury and is officially listed as questionable, but is expected to play, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The Tennessee Titans need to get in the win column here as they are sitting in third in the AFC South and outside the playoff picture with their 3-4 record. With DeAndre Hopkins being available tonight, that will help rookie Will Levis have an additional weapon to target in his second career game.
DeAndre Hopkins has been the team’s top wide receiver as he has 31 catches on 53 targets for 504 yards (16.3 yards per reception) with three receiving touchdowns. His 72.0 yards per game also leads all Titans players.
What should we expect out of the Will Levis and DeAndre Hopkins connection tonight?
The Tennessee Titans have been a struggling team throughout the season and going up against a tough defense in the Pittsburgh Steelers is going to be difficult. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is going to gameplan against allowing DeAndre Hopkins to have that major game like he did last week.
Last week against the Atlanta Falcons, Hopkins finished with four receptions on six targets for 128 yards (32.0 yards per catch) with three receiving touchdowns. It seems as if the connection with Will Levis is better than the one he established with Ryan Tannehill.
Expect to see a lot of rookie cornerback Joey Porter Jr lined up against DeAndre Hopkins tonight and forcing Levis to make difficult throws to get the ball to the three-time All-Pro wide receiver. With some game tape at the NFL level from last week, expect Mike Tomlin’s defense to be prepared on a short week to completely take Hopkins out of the game and try to force more rushing attempts out of Derrick Henry than anything else.
Levis has to prove that last week’s four-touchdown performance was more than just a fluke and if he can dominate against the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense, he will be in a great position going forward. This will be an interesting to see how they look in Week 10 and beyond as Will Levis continues to grow.
