One of the top free-agent linebackers in the NFL could set a bidding war between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys this week. Multiple reports came out over the weekend those teams appear to be interested in Darius Shaquille Leonard after the Indianapolis Colts decided last week to release the five-time All-Pro.
Leonard had been unhappy with the number of snaps the Colts had given him this season. However, he could be better for the Cowboys or Eagles, who need linebackers. Leonard will work out for the Cowboys on Tuesday. The Cowboys lost linebacker Leighton Vander Esch for at least the season due to a neck injury.
The Philadelphia Eagles will visit with a linebacker this week
According to Adam Schefter with the NFL Network, the Eagles will visit with Leonard later in the week.

Leonard can start a bidding war between the two NFC East rivals for his services this season. Both teams are headed for the playoffs. Leonard would be a great depth piece for the Eagles or Cowboys.
Could Leonard bring enough juice to tilt a matchup between the two rivals should they meet in the playoffs?
