Dallas Cowboys superstar quarterback Dak Prescott has perpetually been on the receiving end of a ton of criticism throughout his tenure with the squad. For some folks, the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback just can’t do anything right, despite the fact that he’s actually coming off a tremendous campaign.
Cowboys icon Danny White has now spoken out about Prescott’s situation with the squad as the Super Bowl-winning quarterback expressed how impressed he has been with his successor.

White was recently asked to share his opinion on Dallas’ recent season, which once again, ultimately ended in disappointment. The 72-year-old, however, quickly came to Prescott’s defense as he threw the rest of the squad under the bus:
“Dak’s doing everything well enough to win a Super Bowl. I think everyone else around him you can’t say this,” White said.

That’s savage.
Then again, you can’t really blame White for living up to the unwritten quarterback code. And to his credit, he has a valid point, too.
Prescott led the Cowboys to a 12-5 record in the regular season, which is the most wins this team has logged since Dak’s memorable rookie season. This led to the 30-year-old being one of the leading candidates for the MVP title, which eventually fell into the hands of Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.
At the end of the day, however, Dallas still failed to reach their ultimate goal this season after a heartbreaking loss to the Green Bay Packers in the NFL Wild Card Round. Being that he is the face of this franchise, most of the blame will still be pinned on Prescott — regardless of how good or how bad everyone else around him has been.
