The current highest valued NIL earner in college football, Shedeur Sanders of the Colorado football team, has bought quite a new toy.
Sanders, who will enter his Junior season this year with the Colorado Buffaloes football team, has not been shy about how he spends his money. Between the talented quarterback playing football games in a diamond watch, to flaunting his many expensive vehicles, Sanders loves to be flashy like his father. Most recently, Sanders purchased the first, and only, Tesla Cybertruck in the state of Colorado.
Colorado Football Quarterback Shedeur Sanders Becomes First To Purchase Cybertruck In State

Just before April Fools Day, Shedeur Sanders posted a video to Instagram that showcased his brand-new Tesla Cybertruck. Not only has Sanders impressed with the purchase of the vehicle as a collegiate quarterback, but he is also the first to own one in the state of Colorado.
The vehicle that Sanders purchased comes with a hefty price tag of $99,990 for the Cyberbeast model that the quarterback purchased. However, it is unknown if Sanders modified his Tesla, which could significantly raise the price of the vehicle.
Colorado Buffaloes Football Currently Hold Highest Valued NIL Earner In Collegiate Football

There is certainly no doubt that Sanders has brought plenty of attention to him in the past with his major spending, but his spending has been backed up by his massive NIL deals. Currently, Shedeur Sanders is ranked as the second-overall athlete on the list of highest-valued collegiate athletes, behind Bronny James. Sanders is worth a whopping $4.7 million according to On3 Sports evaluators.
Sanders has held NIL deals with Topps, Gatorade, Google, and Beats by Dre to name a few. The total amount of payment for each deal is not specified, but it has been enough to allow the quarterback to purchase plenty of amazing items.
Despite Criticism Of His Flaunts, Sanders Has Backed Up His Play On The Field

While some critics and fans are certainly not a fan of how Sanders chooses to display his wealth, the quarterback has proven on the field that he can earn bragging rights. Sanders himself has experienced the ups and downs of flaunting in front of his opponents and taunting them. Following a dominating loss to Oregon, the Ducks taunted Sanders and the Colorado football team by pretending to flash a watch on their wrist.
As the Buffaloes hit a tough losing streak to finish out the second half of last season, it became a trend to flash the wrist toward Colorado.
However, despite the issues surrounding some of his actions, Sanders has proven on the field he is a serious competitor. This past season during his first year of play with the Buffaloes, Sanders threw for 3230 yards, 27 touchdowns, and three interceptions.
