Colin Cowherd, like so many college football analysts, is weighing on the College Football Playoff. Florida State is one of the hot topics. They went undefeated and won the ACC but the injury to Jordan Travis has left the offense especially looking less than dominant. Cowherd is on board with leaving the Seminoles out of the final four.
After watching FSU first half, not only would I eliminate them from playoff consideration — I would cancel any invitation to a televised bowl game.

Colin Cowherd Wants Florida State Out Of College Football Playoff
Cowherd had some strong words about the Seminoles.
“After watching FSU first half, not only would I eliminate them from playoff consideration — I would cancel any invitation to a televised bowl game.”
The first half was an abysmal performance. The offense couldn’t sustain any drives and looked disjointed throughout the night. It was only thanks to a couple of big runs that set up easier scoring opportunities that they were able to win. Louisville also did them a favor as they also looked out of sorts on Saturday night. The debate continues until the final four are revealed.
They Should Be In
Injuries aside, I do not understand how the Seminoles are left out. They went undefeated and won a Power 5 conference. It would be unprecedented for the committee not to put them in. It also would be a slap in the face to the rest of the team. While Travis was a big part of the team, this whole group has earned a spot. The defense looked great last night and should give any top offense trouble. With a month to practice, the offense could figure some things out and give any team a run for their money.
Cowherd isn’t alone in his opinion but the only one that matters is the committee’s. No matter what happens, there will be massive debate over who should or shouldn’t be in.
