The Chicago Bears improved to 4-2 on the season following their dominating 35-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams completed 23 of 29 passes for 226 yards, four touchdowns, one interception, and a passer rating of 124.4. He also had 56 yards rushing.
Running back D’Andre Swift gashed the Jacksonville defense for 91 yards on 17 carries for a 5.4 yards per carry average. He also added a rushing touchdown.
Indeed, it was as good a win as the Bears could have hoped for against a very bad Jacksonville team. However, it appears that fans in London were focused on a different Chicago opponent, one they have not faced yet this year.
Chicago Bears Fans Chant “Green Bay Sucks” During Win over Jacksonville Jaguars
During the broadcast, fans could be heard chanting “Green Bay sucks!” during the fourth quarter. Of course, this is a reference to the Green Bay Packers, Chicago’s oldest rival.
The fact that the Packers were not the team on the field playing against Chicago on Sunday was definitely noted by fans on social media:

Idk why it’s not “Vikings suck”, a phrase that you could probably sell to the British pretty easily! https://t.co/Z4dOt0FhMe

The Bears do not play the Packers for the first time this season until November 17. That particular game will be at home in Chicago.
The two rivals will play against each other in Green Bay in Week 18, a game that could very well have playoff implications.
