The Chiefs “Getting All the Calls” Is A Blatantly Biased Fan Theory It’s been a popular conspiracy theory among NFL fans across the country; the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs always seem to receive the most beneficiary penalties. There’s just one problem with that theory, however: It’s not necessarily true! Last season, the Chiefs ranked 12th of the 32 teams in total penalties received. If the conspiracy means that Kansas City gets all the calls from a quantitive standpoint, even that doesn’t check out since they’d have to be first overall in the league getting calls against…

Tank Dell Set for Breakout Starting Role in Texans’ Pass Attack The Houston Texans’ WR corps continues to suffer in the 2024 NFL season with the new speculation that 2nd starter Stefon Diggs may miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL after last week’s close escape against the Indianapolis Colts. Of course, this is still speculation, but it could be confirmed later this week, prompting another Texans WR, Tank Dell, to pick up the reigns. Houston currently sits at an impressive 6-2, easily atop the AFC South with their next contest a Halloween night Thursday Night Football…

Would the Broncos Be Better if they Ate Fewer Uncrustable PB&Js? Last year, the Athletic conducted a study on how many Uncrustables sandwiches teams ate in a week. Yes, those same frozen PB&J sandwiches that we all had for our school lunches and the same ones you can still buy in the frozen foods aisle at your local supermarket. It raises a rather interesting question—does eating more of them result in a better team, record-wise? The survey resulted in 24 of the 32 NFL teams providing an answer as to how many sandwiches their players ate in a week. Some…

Chiefs and Lions Are The Best Teams Ahead of Week 8 Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season begins this Thursday, with the slightly cooled Minnesota Vikings visiting the LA Rams, who are coming off a close win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The Vikings aren’t the only still hot team in the league, however, the Kansas City Chiefs remain the NFL’s only undefeated team, while the Detroit Lions gave Minnesota their first loss of the season with a convincing 31-29 escape effort. Kansas City is the focal point here, given the fact that its defense is carrying…

They’re 7-0 and, yet, ranked 13th in this latest poll. Five other 7-0 squads are in the poll ahead of them: Oregon at #1, Penn State at #3, Miami at #6, Iowa State at #10, and BYU…

Chiefs Looking to Reload Receiver Corps With the news of starting WR Rashee Rice officially out for the remainder of the 2024 season, the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to rebuild a depleted WR corps. To do so, they may have to strike deals with other teams, given that they also do not have much cap space left. The main goal for Kansas City is to find a receiver that can fit in with the Mahomes offense, still has plenty of talent left, and won’t break the bank to try and sign. That last bit is the most important since…

Jags RB Travis Etienne Struggles in Fantasy It’s been a rough three weeks for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Travis Etienne, who can’t seem to perform as well as he usually does on the real and fantasy fields. This past Sunday saw Etienne deliver his worst performance yet, finishing with -0.1 points after being predicted for at least 10.2, which probably wouldn’t have been attainable anyway, given his similarly low performances in Weeks 4 and 5. Etienne is usually the Jaguars’ starting RB, but between him nursing nagging shoulder injuries, potentially losing his starting job to backup Tank Bigsb,y and the aforementioned…
