BYU Injury Update
BYU moves into Week 12 with some questions and more to come on who will play in this game as a starter for their position? BYU has some tough players out this week against Stanford. This week’s information comes from interviews from this week’s game preview from the Coaches.
Offense
The offense is going to be without several players on Saturday. Each of these has made an impact on the season and it will get harder for the offense to find their rhythm without them. Can this BYU injury update provide any hope that the offense can still be good with these players out?
Kody Epps
Epps is out for the year after leaving the Liberty game early. This is a blow to the Cougar offense but thankfully the other wide receivers have stepped up and tried to fill his shoes.

Jackson McChesney
After just a few snaps against South Florida McChesney left and won’t return this season.
Lane Lunt
Lunt announced on Instagram that he is done for the year.

Gunner Romney
Romney has only played in two games this year and probably won’t play tomorrow as the Cougars take on the Cardinals.
Mason Fakahua
Hasn’t played since East Carolina and there has been no update on him so he could play tomorrow.
Defense
The defense is taking hits every week. That means that some younger less experienced players will need to step up. The BYU injury update this week is long. Also some big stars may be done for the season.
Payton Wilgar
Wilgar suffered a high ankle sprain against the Razorbacks and hasn’t played since and coaches have said that he is done for the year. Wilgar is out tonight
Max Tooley
Tooley also joins Wilgar on defense as one of the others who are most likely done for the Season. Max Tooley is out for tonight.
Chaz Ah You
Ah, you left the one game he played early and probably won’t see another snap this year.
Ethan Slade
Ethan Slade left the ECU game early and hasn’t returned to action yet.
Carter Krupp
He also left the ECU game early and hasn’t seen the field since either.
Malik Moore
Moore is done for the year with a hand fracture he suffered against Wyoming.
Josh Larsen
Left this season early with an undisclosed injury and is also done for the year.
D’Angelo Mandell
Mandell left the Wyoming game early and hasn’t played since so he may not see the field again this season.
