The Buffalo Bills fanbase, aka Bills Mafia, is deflated after an injury report Monday on two key starters. The Bills lost 25-20 to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. But that might not have been their most significant loss of the season.
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, Bills linebacker Matt Milano and defensive lineman DaQuan Jones will need surgery after sustaining injuries against the Jaguars. It’s unclear when they can return. It’s possible they could miss the rest of the season.
Bills’ LB Matt Milano needs surgery on his leg and Bills’ DL DaQuan Jones on his pec — both Buffalo players will be out indefinitely.

The Bills defense didn’t need that news this week. Reports came out last week that the Bills will be without Tre’Davious White for the rest of the season after he tore his Achilles in Week 4. That’s three high-profile defenders the Bills will be without for much or the rest of the season.
Buffalo Bills: Bills Mafia is giving up on the season
The dire injury news has some fans giving up on the season. It will be hard for the Bills to compete in the playoffs if they don’t have their best defenders. One good piece of news for the team: Von Miller should get more playing time as the season progresses.
But will that be enough?
Here are the best takes on fans panicking after Monday’s injury news.

Bills can’t afford any more thinning in the Defense. That sucks.

So unfortunate. Stacked defense but they are unlucky with injuries every year.
