The Buffalo Bills revealed devastating news for their defensive secondary Monday afternoon. The Bills were dealing with a couple of injuries to key players this week.
The Bills ruled safety Jordan Poyer out of Week 4 due to a knee injury. The Bills were able to keep the Miami Dolphins to just 20 points without Poyer and make a statement win at home Sunday.
But the team has a poor prognosis for another player in the secondary.
The Buffalo Bills lose a key member of the defense
According to a statement by the Bills, head coach Sean McDermott said the team will be without cornerback Tre’Davious White for the remainder of the season. White suffered a torn Achilles injury in the win over the Dolphins.
Coach McDermott: Tre’Davious White will be out for the season with a torn achilles. We’re all thinking about him right now.
Here's to a speedy recovery, Tre. ❤️💙 pic.twitter.com/lMVYLyM8jD

Losing White will be a massive loss for the Bills going forward. The former Bills first-round pick has made the Pro Bowl twice and earned All-Pro honors twice. We’ll see how this injury affects the Bills’ defense for the rest of the season.
