Philadelphia Eagles rule out one for Divisional Round

The Philadelphia Eagles will be without one starter for their game against the New York Giants Saturday. The Eagles benefited from the first-round bye and had ample time to rest up before Saturday’s game. They had good news for several players on their injury report Thursday.

According to the Eagles’ injury report Thursday, cornerback Avonte Maddox has been ruled out against the Giants with a toe injury. However, four players will be healthy to play Saturday. Defensive end Brandon Graham, offensive tackle Lane Johnson, defensive tackle Linval Joseph, and defensive end Robert Quinn are good to go Saturday.

The Eagles had several injured players returned to practice last week. They should be in even better shape against the Giants with the extra week to prepare. Hopefully, the players will be able to shake off some rust before Saturday so they can play at a high level against their divisional rival. Saturday’s home game will be Philadelphia’s first football playoff game since 2019.
