Three Eagles starters get update
The first-round bye was very helpful for three Philadelphia Eagles starters. The Wild Card bye gives quarterback Jalen Hurts, wide receiver AJ Brown, and right tackle Lane Johnson a chance to heal up before the divisional round. They’ll need all three players as they try to make a Super Bowl run this season.
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, Hurts, Brown, and Johnson, all had positive updates on Friday. Hurts was seen throwing the ball. Brown returned to practice after missing Thursday. Johnson also returned to practice.
Further good news for the Eagles: Jalen Hurts threw today, AJ Brown practiced today after maintenance day yesterday and Lane Johnson also returned to practice. https://t.co/GrVv12skfD

This is good news for the Eagles before next weekend’s big game. The Eagles will host their first playoff game since the 2019 season when they lost to the Seattle Seahawks. Hurts health will be necessary for the Eagles to make a run this postseason. He’s had an MVP-caliber season this season, and his skills in running and passing will stretch playoff defenses.
