Mike Evans Injury
If you have Evans on your fantasy football team, this is finally the week that you can activate him on your lineup. He left in the second quarter in the Bucs’ 26-9 route over their NFC South foe the New Orleans Saints. He has been limited in practice this week and even sat out on Wednesday. However, Evans returned Thursday as a limited participant which brought hope to Tampa Bay fans.
The star receiver is officially fully activated for this Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. There is a chance he can be on a snap count to ensure no further damage is done, but reports have stated that he will be a full participant.
Tampa Bay’s Hot Start
In the four games he has played this season, Evans has amounted to 337 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He was looking like he would be near the top of the receiving leaders before he was suddenly injured in week four. The star receiver will look to help his team get a victory over the red-hot Lions.
In his 10-year career, Evans has gone for 10,762 receiving yards and 84 touchdowns. He has always been the number one guy for Tampa Bay quarterbacks to throw to. The Bucs have gotten off to an unexpected 3-1 start to the 2023 season which has exceeded everyone’s expectations. They will look to improve to 4-1 this week, but it will certainly be a tough test.
