Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has officially been listed as doubtful for this week’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Murray just came back as a full participant in practice this week and was trending to start in this week’s game. However, that is now in doubt and we will most likely see Joshua Dobbs play once again. This news was reported by NFL insider and analyst Adam Schefter via Twitter.

Kyler Murray Injury
Murray suffered a torn ACL last season that has caused him to be sidelined since then. He has been making great progress recently and even became a full participant in practice this week. Head coach Jonathan Gannon has not given many details out as to when Murray will get back to playing throughout the season and has only recently been taken off of the injured reserve list.
He has not yet been completely ruled out to play this week, however, it is also not likely at all that he will be playing in Sunday’s game. We will probably see Dobbs get the start once again this week as the team ensures that Murray is fully recovered and does not run the risk of re-aggravating his injury.
Arizona Cardinals’ Potential
The starting quarterback is going into his fifth year in the league and has amounted to 13,848 passing yards and 84 touchdowns with the Cardinals. Murray has brought his team to the postseason in previous seasons, but it seems like an unlikely task this season as the team is currently sitting at a 1-6 record.
The Cardinals have shown that they have some decent potential for the future and will likely look to build off of some of the young stars they possess. If Murray is able to return to how he has played in the past or even better, this team can be a playoff contender in the next couple of years.
