Los Angeles Rams star receiver Cooper Kupp has been activated by the team to play in this week’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The star receiver has not played in a game since week 10 of last season when he suffered a high ankle sprain that required surgery and a hamstring injury. He will make his season debut and play with Rams’ standout Puka Nacua for the first time.

Cooper Kupp Injury
Kupp was expected to miss multiple games this season after head coach Sean McVay quickly ruled out the star receiver for their week one matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. He has been such a vital part of the Rams’ offense, going for 812 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season before getting injured.
The star receiver has been questionable all week in regards to playing in week five and has just now been confirmed that he will get the start against the Philadelphia Eagles. It should be fun to watch him and Nacua ball out and torch defenses pending their health this season.
Cooper Kupp Career
In his decorated career, Kupp has amounted to 6,329 yards receiving, 46 touchdowns, and 508 receptions. When the Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl 56, he was named the Super Bowl MVP after putting up 92 yards receiving and two touchdowns including the game-winning touchdown catch.
With Kupp back in the lineup, it will certainly boost this offense even more now that he will be the main focus point for opposing defenses. The matchup against the 4-0 Eagles will be a good test for the Rams to see how they compete with the league’s best teams, which can boost their confidence to capturing a playoff birth this season.
