The 2022 NFL Season has begun. With a jam packed slate of games ready to kickoff Sunday, It’s time to try and win some money. One of my favorite bets in football has always been “Anytime TD Scorers“. There is SO much value in these bets and who doesn’t love rooting for a player to get into the end zone. Here are several players that I believe have a great chance of cashing out bets by finding the endzone this Sunday in week one. All odds found for these bets are courtesy of Fanduel.com

    Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson warming up prior to a game

Lamar Jackson QB Baltimore Ravens ( +120)

Firstly, This bet is referring to Lamar Jackson scoring a touchdown by way of a rush or reception, not passing. The New York Jets gave up 23 rushing touchdowns last year, which was the most given up by any team in the 2021 season. Lamar Jackson isn’t a running back, but he rushes the ball a considerable amount of times per game, totaling 11 carries per game in 2021. Furthermore, Baltimore Ravens aren’t entering the season fully healthy at the running back position. J.K. Dobbins, the presumed starting running back, is not 100% healthy for week one and may see a snap count if he is active. Veterans Kenyan Drake and Mike Davis who were brought in this offseason should see most of the carries against the New York Jets on Sunday, for running backs. I expect the quarterback, Jackson, to rush upwards of 15 times this weekend and he should have multiple red-zone opportunities against the Joe Flacco led Jets.

    juju
Chiefs newly acquired wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster

JuJu Smith-Schuster WR Kansas City Chiefs (+125)

I absolutely love JuJu’s chances of getting into the end zone this Sunday versus the Arizona Cardinals. JuJu showed off his ability to make tough catches regularly as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, he’s getting to face off against the team that gave up the most touchdowns to wide receivers last year. Also, his new quarterback is Patrick Mahomes, and he’s pretty good. Tight end Travis Kelce should attract most of the attention in the redzone, giving JuJu a great opportunity to score a touchdown. Lastly, the Kansas City Chiefs were 4th in red zone scoring attempts per game last season (2021). Expect Juju to have many opportunities to cash in and help you cash out by finding the endzone in week one on Sunday.

Doubs leaping up in the air to score a touchdown
Romeo Doubs rising high above the defender to snag a touchdown

Romeo Doubs WR Green Bay Packers (+340)

This one’s a bit of a longshot, but I still love it. Rookie wide receiver, Romeo Doubs, has been given high praise from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers goes in detail about how much Doubs has impressed him in this article. Also, I previously wrote an article explaining that Romeo Doubs could breakout this year given his situation. As far as statistics go, the matchup with the Minnesota Vikings is a great one for Doubs. In 2021. The Vikings gave up the most red zone touches to wide receivers with 39. The Vikings also gave up the 5th most touchdowns to wide receivers in 2021. Expect a pretty high scoring game this Sunday in week one between Green Bay and Minnesota, and watch out for the rookie Doubs to possibly score a touchdown.

    Good luck and bet responsibly!
