The star tight end of the Baltimore Ravens had an interesting start to his offseason. On a flight from Baltimore to Phoenix, Ravens TE Mark Andrews unexpectedly had a chance to be a hero after a woman had low blood sugar on his plane. Now, Andrews gives proper credit to those who acted fast during that situation.
Mark Andrews Gives Credit to Everyone Who Assisted Woman

Not surprisingly, Mark Andrews gave credit to the medical professionals and flight attendants who were treating the woman who collapsed on the plane. There was a doctor and nurse attempting to treat her before paramedics arrived once the plane landed. Here is what Andrews had to say:
“In addition to the fast-acting flight attendants, the real heroes are the nurse and doctor who also happened to be on the plane. Thankfully they were able to provide the woman the quick assistance she needed.” -Mark Andrews
Baltimore Ravens TE Helps Save Woman

Mark Andrews is known for having Type 1 diabetes. As a result, he carries a kit to keep track of his blood sugar levels regularly. On the plane, it was reported that Andrews offered this kit to the doctor and nurse attempting to treat the woman who collapsed.
Apparently, the kit worked, and they were able to stabilize the woman before the paramedics arrived. Luckily, Andrews happened to be at the right place at the right time. Like a proper hero, Andrews made sure to credit everybody involved with his statement above.
