The Baltimore Ravens had a disappointing loss in the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs. As a result, players are now done with the season and are going back to their respective homes. This includes Ravens TE Mark Andrews. However, along the way, Andrews had an opportunity to be a real-life hero.
Mark Andrews Helps Woman on Plane

One football fan posted a story on social media about what Mark Andrews did on one plane ride from Baltimore to Phoenix. Since then, insiders like Adam Schefter of ESPN have retweeted this story. So, what happened on this plane?
A woman near Andrews supposedly collapsed on the ground. She seemed to have a difficult time breathing and her blood pressure was dangerously low. A doctor and nurse on the plane were attempting to help the woman but were having trouble determining the cause of this.
That is when Andrews supposedly stepped in. It is known that he is a diabetic and carries around a kit to test his blood sugar levels. Supposedly, Andrews suggested to the doctor and nurse that the woman’s blood sugar may be an issue. Then, he offered his kit to assist with this issue and it helped the woman stabilize.
Leaving Without Being Noticed

The fan continued the thread and mentioned that Andrews exited the plane quickly once it landed. Andrews supposedly treated this as if nothing happened. He reportedly did not want fanfare and just made sure that paramedics arrived on the scene once the plane landed. They assisted the woman once the plane landed.
Baltimore Ravens Moving Forward

As Andrews goes home for the offseason, he hopes to have a more productive 2024 season. Andrews was out for two months due to an ankle injury before returning in the AFC Championship. Now, Andrews looks to hopefully stay healthy for a full season next year.
The Ravens will have work to do to surpass what they achieved this year. For starters, they lost defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald to the Seattle Seahawks. Besides that, they lost a heartbreaking AFC Championship game to a team who has appeared in the Super Bowl in four of the last five seasons. With Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid still being a forced to be reckoned with next season, it is an obstacle the Ravens will have to overcome.
