I write about college football, it's past, present, and future. I cover Ohio State, BYU, the Big Ten, national college awards, and the MAC. The Ohio State Buckeyes and the BYU Cougars are my ride and die teams and I admit my heart is swayed toward the Scarlet and Gray and Royal Blue. I love my state of Ohio.

48 players from across the nation have been selected to the 2022 Ray Guy Punter of the Year Award Watchlist. Here are the guys who will be good at pinning their opponents deep in 2022. Bryce Baringer, Michigan State Jacob Barnes, Louisiana Tech Reid Bauer, Arkansas Anthony Beck II, Georgia Southern Jay Bramblett, LSU Jack Brooks, South Alabama Paxton Brooks, Tennessee Brian Buschini, Nebraska…

The watch list for the 2022 John Mackey Award was released today. The John Mackey Award is awarded annually to the best tight end in college football. Its two most recent winners have been standouts with Kyle Pitts being a top-5 NFL Draft Pick, and Trey McBride gaining over 1,000 yards receiving despite being the main offensive threat on his team. The Dave Rimington Trophy is presented to the best center in college football every year. It is a one-of-a-kind trophy that is exclusively given to a certain position on the offensive or defensive line. The center is such an important position in calling out the blocking scheme for each play for the other four linemen that it very well merits its own yearly award. Often the best offensive lines in the country in any given season will have a star at center. As you’ll see in the list, the teams contending for national titles usually have a guy who is…
