The woes of former Las Vegas Raiders players continues. Damon Arnette, a former cornerback for the Raiders was indicted on felony gun charges Wednesday according to sources. Arnette’s indictment stems from an argument at a Las Vegas strip casino in January 2022. Allegedly Arnette was holding a weapon and argued with valets. According to court records, Arnette was armed with a .45 caliber handgun. Arnette threatened a man’s life outside the Park MGM hotel. Arnette’s arraignment in court is scheduled for May 24. Offensive Lineman Taylor Lewan is suing Orthopedist Dr. James Andrews for malpractice surrounding surgery on his torn right ACL in 2020. The surgery left Lewan with “severe and permanent damage.” The news broke Thursday and was first reported by the Associated Press. Additional defendants include Benjamin Sherman, Baptist Health Care, Baptist Medical Group and the Andrews Institute. According to the lawsuit, the defendants repaired Lewan’s ACL improperly.
