Quarterback Matt Ryan is joining CBS Sports for the 2023 NFL season. Ryan announced the news on his Twitter account Monday.

Ryan will work as an NFL analyst covering games on CBS. Ryan will also work as a studio and game analyst, providing his perspective on football.
Ryan informed people he isn’t retiring from the NFL. CBS Sports is a bridge for Ryan before he returns to the NFL.
Ryan was released from the Colts after the 2022 season. Ryan spent one season in Indy and the Colts finished the season 4-12-1.
Ryan’s 2022 campaign was disappointing. Ryan had one of his worst seasons as a starting quarterback. Ryan passed for 3,057 yards, threw 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Ryan also had a career-high 15 fumbles.
Ryan’s NFL career has been fantastic. Ryan recorded multiple passing records with the Atlanta Falcons. Ryan won NFL MVP in 2016 and has played winning football. Ryan is seventh in the NFL in passing yards with 62,792. Ryan is ninth in the NFL in touchdown passes with 381.
