The Arizona Cardinals might need a new offensive lineman
Jonathan Gannon knew there would be challenges ahead when he took the Arizona Cardinals head coaching job a few weeks ago. He might need to turn around the franchise without a veteran offensive lineman. The Cardinals headed into the offseason with a few unknowns, including when quarterback Kyler Murray would be healthy. The team now must plan for how to build around Murray this offseason.
The Cardinals might be looking to upgrade their offensive line to do so, either in the draft or free agency. According to ESPN, the Cardinals center Rodney Hudson is expected to retire this offseason. He’s been in the NFL for 12 seasons. Hudson was one of the Cardinals’ best offensive linemen while he played in Arizona. He made three Pro Bowl appearances and earned All-Pro honors for the 2019 season.

Hudson missed several games last season with a knee injury. The Cardinals will need to find his replacement to help keep Murray healthy in the future.
