The New York Jets announced incredible news on the rehab status of Aaron Rodgers ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

The Jets head into that game with a 4-3 record. The Jets are hoping Rodgers, who suffered a torn Achilles in Week 1, could be back before the end of their season to help with a deep playoff run.
Rodgers has appeared to make incredible progress thus far. He was able to put more weight on his feet during the Jets warmups against the New York Giants last Sunday. Rodgers took even more steps in the Jets lead-up against the Chargers Monday afternoon.

According to a video post on the Jets X page, Rodgers walked into MetLife under his own power. Rodgers has been seen taking a cart around the stadium in previous weeks.

Rodgers seems to be getting closer to returning to the playing field before each Jets game. It’ll be interesting to see when the Jets open his 21-day window to return to the active roster.
