Seldon committed to Michigan in 2018 and enrolled at the university in 2020. He played for the Wolverines for only two seasons before transferring to New Mexico State, where he played for another two years.  Seldon recorded 97 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and two interceptions in 28 games with the Aggies. This offseason, he hit the transfer portal again, committed to play at TCU, and then decided to go back into the portal and head to Utah State.

Utah State released a statement on its social media account regarding Seldon’s tragic passing. It stated, “The Utah State University community is mourning the death of football student-athlete Andre Seldon Jr. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.”
