The 2024 NFL draft is now just one week away. This is part three of my top 60 prospects in this year’s draft class. Be sure to check out parts 1 and 2 here.
NFL Draft Prospects 31-45
31. Chop Robinson (Penn State) EDGE
Chop Robinson is one of my favorite players to watch from this year’s draft class. He is a freakishly athletic speedy edge rusher. Robins lacks the pass-rush moves to make him a top-tier edge rusher in this class.
32. Payton Wilson (North Carolina State) LB
Payton Wilson is another player who has been ridiculed with injuries. Wilson was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. Wilson would easily be a first-round pick, but his injuries will push him into the mid-second.
33. Zach Frazier (West Virginia) C
Many teams in the NFL seem to be in love with Zach Fraizer. Fraizer is one of the best centers in the 2024 NFL draft. With his wrestling background, Fraizer should be a day-one starter for any NFL team.
34. Bo Nix (Oregon) QB
Lots of draft prospects seem to have Bo Nix higher on their boards. For some reason, I’m just not seeing what they see. Bo Nix can still be a very good NFL quarterback, but I don’t believe he offers the talent of a first-round pick.
35. Troy Franklin (Oregon) WR
Troy Franklin was Bo Nix’s WR1 in 2023. Franklin has a different build than the other receivers in this draft. He has a DeVonta Smith-like build as he is tall and lanky but is also very light. Franklin should be a great deep threat in the NFL.
36. Jordan Morgan (Arizona) OT
Jordan Morgan is another great tackle prospect in this year’s NFL draft. Morgan offers some versatility across the offensive line. It seems likely that Morgan will play guard at the next level.
37. TJ Tampa (Iowa State) CB
TJ Tampa has been one of my favorite corners throughout this NFL draft process. He is an aggressive corner who likes to help in the run game. The knock-on Tampa is his lack of top-end speed which could hurt him in the NFL.
38. Ladd McConkey (Georgia) WR
Ladd McConkey is arguably the best route runner in the 2024 NFL draft. He is incredible at creating space and getting open. There is a chance he finds his way into the first round and should be a great NFL wide receiver.
39. Junior Colson (Michigan) LB
Junior Colson is another great linebacker prospect from the 2024 draft class. Colson played the Mike linebacker for Michigan throughout last season. With large size and coverage skills Colson should be an early day two pick in the NFL draft.
40. Xavier Worthy (Texas) WR
Xavier Worthy is another polarizing prospect in this year’s class. Worthy was regarded as a mid-second-round pick until he boosted his stock by breaking the combine 40-yard dash record. There is now a good chance Worthy will sneak into the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.
41. Kamari Lassiter (Georgia) CB
Kamari Lassiter is another great corner in the 2024 NFL draft. Lassiter is a physical but slender corner that might push him into more of a nickel role. He is smart in coverage but tends to get lots of penalties that will likely make him an early second-round pick.
42. Darius Robinson (Missouri) DE
Darrius Robinson is a very versatile defensive lineman. He offers the size to play on the inside, while also having the speed to play on the outside. Robinson should be an early second-round pick and a day-one starter for an NFL team.
43. Keon Coleman (Florida State) WR
There are lots of polarizing prospects in this year’s NFL draft, but Keon Coleman might be the most. Coleman is a tall receiver who thrives in catching contested catches. The knock on Coleman is that he ran a 4.60 40-yard dash.
44. Ennis Rakestraw (Missouri) CB
Rakestraw is another corner prospect that lacks top-end speed. At the combine, Rakestraw ran a 4.51 which will likely make him a candidate for an early second-round pick.
45. Tyler Nubin (Minnesota) S
The first safety on the list is Tyler Nubin. The safety class is one of the worst in the 2024 NFL draft. Nubin is a smart and aggressive football player who should be the first safety selected next week.
