With week two here, the Las Vegas Raiders will need to fix a lot after week one. The Raiders were overcome by the Las Angeles Chargers in week one, with Derek Carr throwing 22/37 with three interceptions and a QB rating of 69.1. Las Vegas’ offense, besides two touchdowns, was not good with the defense letting the Chargers roll over them. The Raiders have many issues that game and will need to improve for the season to be a success. Las Vegas will also need to fix the defense after giving up three touchdowns and 355 yards in their loss. Vegas will need to fix these week one errors, or this season will be a disaster and end in misery.

Offensive fixing for Las Vegas?
Last Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders struggled with their offensive playcalling in their game against the Chargers. Vegas will need to fix their scheming in offense by possibly going for the run. The Raiders ran the ball thirteen times with 64 yards and must improve for Sunday. The team will need to trust Josh Jacobs for the running game to improve. Another fix for the Raiders this season is Derek Carr’s passing and improvement against a weak Arizona Cardinals team. Las Vegas playcalling with head coach Josh McDaniels needs to improve with a record of having potent offenses with New England. If the Raiders don’t show improvements against the Cardinals, the season will be a long one for the Raiders.
Defensive fixing for Las Vegas?
Vegas also needs to improve its defense to win this season. The Raider’s defense gave up around 279 passing yards and 75 rushing yards in the loss to the Chargers. Vegas looked inadequate in their defensive scheming, with no sacks and interceptions in week one. There is plenty to improve with the defense, especially on the front lines. The Raider’s secondary is also a mess on the team, and along with significant injuries, it might not get better. Potentially against a weak Cardinals offense, Las Vegas can show their potential.
Potential comeback for the Las Vegas Raiders
For the Las Vegas Raiders to win in week two, they need to fix these errors from their loss against the Chargers. The offense has shown leaks against a strong defense and will need to strengthen its run game. If Vegas runs the ball well, with Carr improving from the mistakes last week, the Raiders will win. The Raiders’ defense also needs to step up against the Cardinals to get the win. This Raiders team has the potential to make the playoffs, but if they keep losing, this season will be a long one for the Autumn wind.
