In the Minnesota Vikings’ 12-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10, it wasn’t just the defense that stood out—it was the celebration that followed an electrifying interception by cornerback Camryn Bynum. With less than two minutes remaining in the game, Bynum sealed the win with a pivotal interception off Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones. The play was what had fans on the edge of their seat, but it was the creative celebration that followed that had everyone talking.

Australian Olympic breakdancer Rachael ‘Raygun’ Gunn was the subject of the tribute from Bynum, who’s not shy with his enthusiasm on the field. Bynum took inspiration from Gunn’s 2024 Paris Olympics Breakdancing routine. Yes, Breakdancing was in the Olympics. Gunn who placed last in the Olympics went viral for her routine. Bynum’s celebration toward the end mirrored Gunn’s famous routine, right to the signature kangaroo pose that closed it out.
Cam Bynum’s Been Saving This One
Byum shared after the game that he has been saving that one. “I’m a big fan of hers. She went out there and had fun, and that’s what I try to do on the field.” He explained the surprise celebration actually has been a while coming and he waited until his game-clinching interception to unleash it. With his teammates gathering around him, they couldn’t help but join in the fun.
Bynum’s interception was his third of the season and first, since the Vikings hosted the New York Jets in London on Oct. 6. Here it was his fourth-quarter pick that was crucial for the Vikings to hold off the Jaguars and grab a much-needed win.

It comes at a key moment too, as the breakdancer, has now announced her retirement from the sport following a difficult time during and after the Olympics. While her competitive dancing career may be over, Gunn’s influence continues to inspire, as seen through Halloween costumes, Memes, and such things as Bynum’s dance celebration. Mostly through irony, reminds us the comradery between teammates is as important as the sport itself.
