Running back Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams initially declared for the 2024 NFL Draft in the first week of December. A week later, Lynch-Adams announced that he would enter the transfer portal.
Here’s what went down in his collegiate career.
He committed to Rutgers in 2019

Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams committed to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as a three-star recruit for the 2019 season.
Lynch-Adams appeared in nine games in 2019. He rushed for 161 yards on 48 carries and one rushing touchdown. He also had two receptions for 47 yards.
Lynch-Adams appeared in nine games in 2020. He rushed for 159 yards on 35 carries and one rushing touchdown. He also had four receptions for 73 yards and one receiving touchdown.
He entered the transfer portal after the conclusion of the 2020 season.
He transferred to UMASS

Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams transferred to UMASS for the 2021 season. Lynch-Adams appeared in seven games in 2021. He rushed for 114 yards on 39 carries and one rushing touchdown. He also had seven receptions for 43 yards.
Lynch-Adams appeared in 11 games in 2022. He rushed for 297 yards on 84 carries and one rushing touchdown. He also had two receptions for seven yards.
Lynch-Adams took over as the starting running back and appeared in 12 games in 2023. He rushed for 1,157 yards on 236 carries and 12 rushing touchdowns. He also had 20 receptions for 118 yards. Lynch-Adams was named to College Football Network’s All-Independent Offense Team and Phil Steele’s All-Independent Team.
