The UCLA Bruins have been struggling after dropping four of their previous five games heading into this matchup and Chip Kelly is officially on the hot seat. Freshman quarterback Dante Moore has been playing decently well but junior quarterback Ethan Garbers has been the starter the previous few weeks.
The Bruins also have an excellent running game with junior Carson Steele as he has 143 rushing attempts for 745 yards (5.2 yards per carry) with six rushing touchdowns.
Their defense has been getting pressure as senior defensive lineman is leading the charge with 11 sacks on the year so far. His ability to get to the quarterback is forcing mistakes, which senior defensive back Alex Johnson has taken advantage of with four interceptions. This team is good but should be a lot better.

The USC Trojans are in a weird spot as Lincoln Riley fired defensive coordinator Alex Grinch and the defense has been atrocious even without him there. Despite the porous efforts at getting stops and forcing kicks instead of touchdowns, the team has 14 takeaways on the season.
However, the Trojans are known for one thing: Caleb Williams. He has been a star as he is 235-of-346 (67.9 completion percentage) for 3,249 yards with 29 touchdowns and four interceptions. With a strong wide receiver with Tahj Washington’s 915 receiving yards and Brendan Rice’s 11 touchdown receptions, this team can be scary to go up against.
Game Prediction
With this game potentially being the final game of Caleb Williams’ collegiate career as he likely will not play in a bowl game, this is going to be interesting. Simply put, can the UCLA Bruins score 35+ points to keep up with the USC Trojans? They haven’t done so in four of their last five games. Expect Lincoln Riley to flex his muscles here with an incredible performance to end the regular season and win by multiple possessions.
Final Pick
USC Trojans -6.5
