Travis Kelce and the Kansas Chiefs took care of business in the opening game of the NFL season, knocking off the Baltimore Ravens 27-20.
At this point, it’s no surprise that NBC made a point to show Kelces’ girlfriend — and the most famous Chiefs fan in the world, Taylor Swift — multiple times throughout the game. Mike Tirico and Cris Colinsworth also took time during the broadcast to mention Kelce and Swift.
There were multiple notable moments for the pop superstar during Travis Kelce’s opening game of the 2024 season. Multiple reports stated a current disagreement between Swift and Brittany Mahomes — the wife of Chiefs’ star QB Patrick — and pointed out the two didn’t sit together during the game like they have in years past.
There was also a video that went viral with Swift celebrating Kansas City’s victory as soon as the final whistle blew and the score was final.
In the week leading up to the game, there was some unwanted drama that put the couple in the spotlight after documents began to surface on the internet from a PR firm in LA detailing how the relationship between Kelce and Swift was a PR stunt, with a plan outlined for them to breakup at the end of September.
Kelce clearly wasn’t thrilled about the accusation and hired a team of lawyers to get to the bottom of it.

According to a report from the entertainment blog Page Six, Kelce hosted a party at one of his favorite restaurants in Kansas City, Mo., on Thursday evening to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 1 win — and Swift even got a little lit at the bash.
The private party — which reportedly took place at Prime Social — was paid for byKelce who rented out the entire cocktail bar for the event.
“Taylor got a little drunky,” an insider told Page Six, laughing off how the pop star was able to let her hair down.
Patrick Mahomes was also on hand to join Travis Kelce at the event, which is interesting considering the reports of a current feud between Brittany Mahomes and Swift.
The Grammy winner was already dressed to the nines for the game, seemingly ready for a night out.
According to the Page Six report, she flaunted her curves in a Versace corset ($1,325) and Grlfrnd jean shorts ($185 $102), red Giuseppe Zanotti over-the-knee boots ($1,650 $966) and carried a black Louis Vuitton purse ($3,950).
Travis Kelce didn’t put up a monster night like he has in so many occasions in the past, but the Chiefs tight end still proved he can play at a high level coming through clutch for Mahomes on a few third down attempts.
He finished the game with 3 catches for 36 yards.
