Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady has been retired for almost a year, but that has not stopped many rumors and speculation regarding another potential comeback to the league. Brady had already come out of retirement once before when he rejoined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he said that he was done for good this time. However, an NFL fanbase is calling for him to sign with their team after their star quarterback was ruled out for the rest of the season this past week.

Tom Brady Rumors
Cincinnati Bengals fans are calling for Brady to join their team since quarterback Joe Burrow will be out for the remainder of the 2023 season. Although this is far-fetched, Brady on the Bengals sounds like a match made in heaven. With weapons like Ja’Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd, and Tee Higgins as his receivers, and a stud running back in Joe Mixon, this offense with Brady would seem unstoppable to opposing defenses.
Bradyn is one of if not the greatest quarterbacks of all time, with seven Super Bowl championships and five Super Bowl MVPs. In his amazing career, he amounted to 89,214 passing yards and 649 touchdowns for the New England Patriots and the Buccaneers. He has come out of retirement once before, which is why Bengals fans are calling for him to do it again and compete for a championship in Cincinnati.
Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback Issues
Burrow was dealing with multiple injuries this season, which caused Cincinnati to have a poor start to the season, and he went down with a season-ending wrist injury on Thursday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens just when he started to look fully healed again. The team said that they will be rolling with Jake Browning as their starter for now, and from the sound of the statement made by head coach Zac Taylor, he could be their guy for the remainder of the season.
Cincinnati is now 5-5 on the year and is currently in last place in the highly competitive AFC North. They will have a tough matchup against their divisional rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers next week, who have one of the top defenses in the league. We will see how Browning does as a starter, but if he does not do well, this rumor regarding Brady could start to gain some more steam amongst the NFL world.
