The mid stretch Previewing week 9 the midway point of the NFL season

If the weatherman had the task of predicting some of the games on tab this week, we’d forecast tornadoes, sunshine, hurricanes, and thunderstorms, in a week with potential matchups of dramatic beatdowns or maybe even potential upsets this will be an extremely hard betters week.

Short and sweet the Titans are massively outmatched in this game and it isn’t rocket science. The Titans receiving game has been nonexistent and Derrick Henry is single-handedly carrying the offense, While the Return of Treylon Burks isn’t yet quite upon us. The team’s pass defense isn’t spectacular and Kansas City is self-explanatory. The Chief’s kryptonite seems to be the Titans but it’s hard to see the Titans coming out on top but there’s high unemployment set potential with Detrick Henry again a pour run defense. Kc is the safe bet here.

    Bills @ Jets Sun 1pm

Even more out of hand can’t be the Jets. After winning 4 straight the Jets are coming off a horrific performance by Zach Wilson who threw 3 picks last week. The Jets can’t seem to get over the New England curse. Nothing seems to Stop Buffalo, they are on a war path and sadly the Jets are most likely another victim Sunday

Never in anyone’s wildest dreams would they visualize a possible chance of the Lions beating the Packers as long as Aaron Rodgers is in formation. The Lions have a good number of injuries going in. In another alternate universe, Aaron Rodgers and Jared Goff Have nearly identical QB stats. Despite Rodgers dreams of Davante Adams daily it’s hard to believe Allen Lazard is Rodgers’s top target this season and has just 340 YDS. All in all, it wouldn’t surprise me if this game comes down to the final minutes let alone seconds. I think the Packers get the job done but it’ll be the furthest thing from a walk in the park.

    Rams @ Buccaneers Sun 4:25pm

After starting 2-0 the Bucs are 1-5. Yes, a Tom Brady-led team is 3-5 mid-season. The Bucs haven’t been able to win close games and haven’t been up to the expectations of a Tom Brady-caliber team. Last year Ram’s sparkle diminished almost completely. Stafford can’t stay on his feet and continues to make mistakes With costly interception turnovers. Neither team has sparked on offense at least not to expectations. Never thought I’d think this game could be nap time but low scoring would seem probable. It’ll come down to defense but I trust the Rams gameplan more than the Bucs.

Raiders @ Jaguars SUN 1 PM

Another game that can peak the interest of some maybe not for good reason is this Raiders team heading to Jacksonville to take on a team that shares another bad record. The Raiders are 2-5 and the Jags are 2-6. The craziest part about these records is if you watched these teams play weekly Superbowl doesn’t cross your mind but their much better than their record says. both Running backs playing well, Carr and Lawrence playing decent however Davante Adams isn’t playing his caliber while his season stats aren’t slander, it’s not Eye catching he doesn’t rank with guys like Aj Brown, Cooper Kupp, Tyreke Hill or Stefon Diggs. The Raiders have lost half of their schedule by 7 points or less and have only looked stellar again the Texans putting up 38 and winning by 18. The Jags have lost 5 in a row and the Raiders are coming off being shut out https://gridironheroics.com/three-takeaways-from-saints-24-0-win-las-vegas/

    Bye weeks.

The Browns, Steelers, 49ers, Giants, Broncos and Cowboys all have byes this weekend
