The Buffalo Bills are just two days away from traveling to the Detroit Lions for one of the best NFL matchups of the season. Last week, Bills quarterback Josh Allen put up a fantastic showing.
Allen scored six touchdowns, throwing for three while rushing for three, but it wasn’t enough because Buffalo fell to the Los Angeles Rams 44-42.
The 28-year-old quarterback had to take over the game by himself, but he should be getting a weapon back who hasn’t seen the field in some time.
Buffalo Bills Rookie Playmaker Was Having A Great Season Before Suffering An Injury
Bills rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman was having a great start to his first NFL season, recording 22 receptions for 417 yards and three scores, but suffered a wrist injury against the Miami Dolphins in Week Nine, which has kept him sidelined for the last four games.
The 21-year-old wide receiver was starting to come into his own before his injury and was finding a crucial spot in the offense, but now he will have to figure out his role again with just four games left before the postseason.
Buffalo got great news on Coleman’s status for this week’s game. On Friday, the former Florida State wide receiver said that he is good to go for Sunday and will return to the lineup.
Buffalo’s Offense Is Getting Healthy At The Right Time
The Bills received some good news, including Coleman’s return. However, star tight end Dalton Kincaid, who hasn’t played a game since suffering a knee injury against the Indianapolis Colts, is questionable for Sunday.
Buffalo is starting to get healthy at the right time. With four games left in the regular season, it’s now a perfect opportunity for the offense to get back into a rhythm like it was before Coleman and Kincaid went down before the postseason.
Allen has put the team on his back so many times this season. If offensive skill players Coleman, Kincaid, Amari Cooper, James Cook, and Khalil Shakir play their roles, the Bills could be the team to beat this January into February.
