Titans Receive- 2025 4th Rd Pick, Jerome Baker (LB)
Seahawks Receive- Ernest Jones IV (LB)

With Jones Seahawks add Pro Bowl Caliber Linebacker to Ultra-Talented Defense
Jones returns to the NFC West after being traded for a second time this season. Quietly one of the better players on a Top 5 defense in Tennessee, he leaves the Titans as their second leading tackler.
He joins a defense full of young playmakers like Corners Tariq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon, and Edge Rushers Derrick Hall and Boye Mafe, and will look to solidify pass coverage from the Linebacker Position. Seattle currently holds a one game lead in the NFC West with the 49ers struggling with injuries, and the Rams and Cardinals being unable to fully put things together so far this season, the Seahawks are in prime position to make a strong push led by a stingy playmaking defense and an efficient offense.
First year Head Coach Mike Macdonald has Seattle looking like the early stages of the “Legion of Boom” era but only time will tell if he can take this roster to those heights after the addition of Jones.

Titans appear to be in “Fire Sale” mode after back to back trades
Jones is replaced in Tennessee by Jerome Baker, Baker spent his first six seasons in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins before signing with Seattle in the Offseason. Baker fills much of the same role as Jones, but Jones’ departure may lead to an increased role for Rookie Linebacker Cedric Gray.
After trading both Jones and Hopkins to stock up on picks it’s easy to see that Titans GM Ran Carthon is looking towards the future, and that future will most likely need a new Quarterback to run the helm. Tennessee currently sits at 1-5 despite having a statistically top-five defense and a halftime lead in four of their six games.
Expect the Titans to continue to be active sellers as they attempt to move players with expiring contracts and pick up whatever resources they can. Many fans gave the Tennessee GM flak last season for not moving players like Derrick Henry after making the decision to trade away Kevin Byard, this season it looks like Ran heard the comments loud and clear.
