The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense will look new in 2023
Now that Tom Brady has retired from the NFL, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are remaking their offense in 2023. The Buccaneers brought in Baker Mayfield to compete with Kyle Trask for the starting quarterback job this offseason. The Buccaneers, who released Leonard Fournette this offseason, are working with an adjusted running back room. General manager Jason Licht recently named a back he thinks will be a stud.

Licht recently spoke with Joe Bucs Fan about the free agent running back market. Licht said the teams are wary of paying running back’s right now because of the talent in the draft. He thinks the Buccaneers have a good group and has high hopes for Rachaad White:
“So we really like our group, really like our group. We think Rachaad [White] is going to be a stud. We really like Ke’Shawn [Vaughn]. We’ve always liked Ke’Shawn. I know he’s been with us for three years, but he really hasn’t gotten opportunities. When he has, he’s done some good things. And we got Chase [Edmonds signed in free agency]. I’m not saying we’re done there, but we like the room that we got now.”
The Buccaneers could add to that group in the draft. But they have a pretty solid core heading into OTAs.
