Multi-Grammy Award-winner Post Malone kicked off the show by delivering a performance of America the Beautiful before the game started.
It was a memorable performance by the 28-year-old, and naturally, it had social media buzzing hard.

I believe that was Swift’s first official appearance on the broadcast. You just know that there’s going to be much more of her in the next couple of hours.
As expected, though, other folks were not very impressed with Malone:

Either way, Malone opened the evening with a commendable performance as he set the stage for the highly-anticipated halftime show. The ball’s in your court now, Usher.
