Sportico released a list of the most valuable teams in sports. The Dallas Cowboys continue to top the charts, pricing at $7.64 billion. According to Sportico, Dallas has a $630 million gap with the second-place New York Yankees.
Following the Cowboys in the NFL, the Rams are worth $5.91 billion, and the Patriots are third at $5.88 billion. 16 football clubs are worth at least $4 billion, powering over the NBA(four teams) and the MLB (three teams).
According to ESPN, Sportico’s calculations are collected from interviews with bankers, lawyers, team executives, owners, and information from public documents involved in the sport.
The league’s average value for a franchise is $4.1 billion, an 18% increase from last year. The jump is most likely a result of the Broncos deal, purchased by the Walton-Penner family ownership group for $4.65 billion. Once the league owners approve the arrangement, the price will be a record payment for a North American sports team.
Dallas owner Jerry Jones plans to never sell his organization, and the Cowboys continue to be the most valuable squad in the world. How does “America’s Team” rank the best?

How is Dallas the Most Valuable?
Forbes in August 2021 shared that the Cowboys generate roughly $800 million in revenue. No NFL crew comes close to surpassing this number.
Dallas, along with the Rams and Patriots, have real estate developments and other businesses that contribute to their most valuable NFL teams. The Cowboys and the Yankees collaborated to start the hospitality company Legends. Jones has partnerships with other football teams as well.
In April, the Cowboys struck the first sponsorship deal with a cryptocurrency company in the NFL. The agreement with Blockchain.com includes extended branding, club space inside AT&T Stadium, rights to social/digital integrations, extensive TV, radio, and digital advertising, and more.
The Jones family acquired The Dallas Cowboys for $189 million in 1989. 33 years later, Jones has blossomed the squad into the most valuable in the world.
