Shedeur Sanders’s recent Pro Day is being picked apart from NFL analysts everywhere who are eager to drop their two cents of criticism on the young footballer. Shannon Sharpe, former Denver Broncos tight end, discussed the same on the ‘Nightcap’ podcast with Chad Johnson.

However, Sharpe did not criticize Sanders and instead came out in his defense. While Shedeur Sanders is certainly a skilled quarterback, the young player has been trolled for several flaws like his throwing style. Other analysts have even trolled him for his habit of patting the ball before throwing it, despite many other successful quarterbacks doing the same.

“What are we doing here? At the end of the day, watch the tape. What do you see on tape? Are there some things – everybody has things that they can correct. Y’all make it seem like Peyton (Manning) and Tom (Brady) and everybody – there’s something you can get better at, but to say a guy is flawless is just not true.” Shannon Sharpe said on ‘Nightcap’ to Chad Johnson about Shedeur Sanders.

Shedeur Sanders has already proved that he is indeed a skilled quarterback. The 23-year-old quarterback recently finished his senior year with the Colorado Buffaloes and, before that, played for the Jackson State Tigers. In his senior year with the Colorado Buffaloes, Sanders threw for 4,134 yards, scoring 37 touchdowns while managing ten interceptions.

Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders is being targeted by the Pittsburgh Steelers for the upcoming 2025 NFL season. The Pittsburgh Steelers are desperate to bring in a talented young quarterback, and Sanders definitely checks off all their boxes.

In the previous NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers finished second in the AFC North after winning ten games and losing seven, one spot below the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers made it to the NFL Wild Card Round and lost to the Ravens, 28-14, and were officially chucked out of the tournament.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were originally targeting veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers who was recently let go by the New York Jets after a subpar season. However, it looks like they are on the hunt for another quarterback after Rodgers delayed his response.

From recent rumors, Rodgers is apparently hoping that the Minnesota Vikings toss him a juicy deal. Between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings, the latter finished with a better record in the previous season and Rodgers might hope to win a Super Bowl with the team.
