Shedeur Sanders was recently compared to Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins quarterback, by NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky. On Friday’s edition of the ‘First Take’ on ESPN, Orlovsky discussed exactly this and also went on to compare Sanders with Tagovailoa, Brock Purdy and even Joe Burrow.
Of course, Orlovsky had plenty of great things to say about Sanders’ physical skills. At the same time, Orlovsky highlighted the fact that the 23-year-old quarterback might need a certain type of offense around him to fulfill his highest potential.
“If you were going to say where or what type of offense does Shedeur need to be in to play to his very best,” Orlovsky said, “because he’s not one of those five guys on the planet that you can kind of put him in any offense, and his physical skills are just absolutely absurd that he’ll overcome any deficiency of it. I tell you, he needed to be in an offense similar to what Tua is like in Miami, or what Brock Purdy is like in San Francisco, or a little bit of what Joe Burrow is like in Cincinnati, point guard. Tua is my comp in many ways for Shedeur Sanders. Great ball placement, rhythm and timing, super smart, anticipatory thrower.” Dan Orlovsky said on ‘First Take’ about Shedeur Sanders.

Shedeur Sanders has been stunning on the field since his time with the Jackson State Tigers and the Colorado Buffaloes in the NCAA. In the previous college basketball season, Sanders was awarded the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year award and also made it to the First-team All-Big 12.

Shedeur Sanders Finishes Private Workout With New York Giants
According to a recent tweet by a New York Giants insider, Shedeur Sanders recently completed a private workout with the team. It was not only Sanders who showcased his skills with the team, but also Cam Ward.

With so many teams interested in the quarterback, it is still unclear as to which squad Sanders will choose for the upcoming NFL season. Sanders is definitely one of the big names in the upcoming NFL draft, and several teams will try their best to get the talented player on their roster.

Sanders has also not given a clear answer as to who he wants to join in the 2025 NFL season. In his senior year with the Colorado Buffaloes, Shedeur Sanders threw for a total of 4,134 passing yards, scoring 37 touchdowns along with ten interceptions.
