He was previously 0-38 when it came to those opportunities and they really needed this one. This is a huge game to have wrapped under the belt of Brock as he will need more of these to build some experience at making come from behind wins.

Deebo Samuel left the game early with an injury and his status for the NFC Championship is still up in the air. But Brock Purdy and the 49ers did not fall flat without their star receiver and came out with a huge victory in a game that was back and forth all game long. That makes this first win under Shanahan when trailing going into the fourth quarter even more impressive as they did it without their top receiver.
Brock is clearly the guy for the 49ers and he has them looking much better than Jimmy Garapolo ever did. He is the first quarterback to accomplish this come from behind win with Shanahan at the coach and they will need him to do more first time things if they want to accomplish their main goal. Shanahan s regarded as one of the best coaches in the NFL even with this hole in his game and now Brock may be able to change that.
Can Brock Purdy Get Kyle Shanahan His First Super Bowl
Brock has been amazing in his short time with this team and he may be the quarterback to win Kyle Shanahan his first Super Bowl. Shanahan has been so close on a few occasions of getting that Super Bowl only to come up just a bit short. Purdy has proven that when he is the starter the 49ers have a great chance to win the game, and now they are only two wins away from history.
This come from behind win was a great step towards this team getting to a new level. We all know that this team can punch you in the mouth early and then cruise to victory but the one flaw has been their come from behind capability and the lack their of. Brock has also shown that he can play better than anyone with a lead, but not a swell when his team is trailing late.
Now, they will have to prove that they can do it again as their only amazing teams left when you get to the final four. Brock and Shanahan will be faced with stretches where they are not playing with a lead and they will need to capitalize if they want the Super Bowl.
