Richard Sherman could face more legal problems following his recent DUI arrest on Saturday morning.

Sherman is still under monitored supervision as a result of his misdemeanor charges in 2022. With that being said, the former Seattle Seahawks star just put himself in more trouble after his latest arrest.

Sherman just couldn’t stay out of trouble, especially when it comes to driving. Amid his latest arrest, his past legal problems have been highlighted as well, and for valid reasons.

Back in March 2022, Sherman pleaded guilty to first-degree negligent driving, second-degree criminal trespass and speeding while in a construction zone, according to Fox 13. As a result of the misdemeanor chargers, he got a 90-day suspension sentence for each count.

He’s also assigned to have monitored supervision for the next two years. Failure to comply on the terms of the agreement could result to jail time.

Here’s what Fox 13 wrote at the time:

Sherman was given a 90-day suspended sentence for each count, with two days credit given from his initial arrest. He was assigned to have monitored supervision for the next two years. He will not serve any further jail time unless he violates the terms of the agreement.

Sherman must stay out of any further trouble, which includes any criminal, alcohol or drug-related offenses.

Sure enough, the two-year monitoring period still isn’t up. And considering the latest DUI arrest involving Sherman, he might have just violated the terms of his agreement.

While it’s too early to assume anything, it’s definitely not a good look for Sherman. He could also be facing more punishment or disciplinary actions.

As reported earlier, Richard Sherman’s DUI case is still under investigation. He was reportedly arrested Saturday morning, with the King County Jail roster showing the former NFL star being booked at 4:51 a.m., per a separate Fox 13 report.

Unfortunately, it’s unknown where exactly Sherman was arrested. As of Saturday afternoon, the King County Prosecutor’s Office has also not received chargers involving the ex-Seahawks cornerback.

It’s unknown what will happen next to Sherman. The 35-year-old has transitioned to a media role after his time in the NFL, and it remains to be seen how the incident will affect his work.

He has also yet to issue a statement about the arrest. For now, fans can only wait for the official updates from all parties involved.

Stay tuned as we will keep everyone posted on the latest development pertaining to this story.
