Former Seattle Seahawks star corner Richard Sherman is not the biggest fan of Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. On the TV show Undisputed with Skip Bayless, Sherman stated he did not have Lamb as a ” bonafide #1 receiver.”

“The conversation he’s in is with guys like Jaylen Waddle (Dolphins), Garrett Wilson Jr (Jets), Tyler Lockett (Seahawks), Tee Higgins (Bengals), Brandon Aiyuk (49ers), and Chris Godwin (Bucs),” stated Richard Sherman on Undisputed.
Sherman specified that those are “really good receivers,” but Lamb is not in the conversation with players the caliber of Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson and Miami’s Tyreek Hill.
Richard Sherman Breaksdown the Cowboys’ Issues
Sherman also believes the Dallas Cowboys would have benefited if they kept Amari Cooper. Without Cooper, the Cowboys, specifically quarterback Dak Prescott, has struggled. Prescott owned a 103.0 rating in the two seasons Lamb and Cooper played alongside each other. However, his rating has dipped to 90.1 since Cooper landed in Cleveland in 2022. More importantly, Prescott has thrown 19 interceptions during that span.
Sherman was a five-time Pro-Bowler during his 11-year professional career. The Stanford product shined during his days with the Seattle Seahawks, being named All-Pro three times and winning a Super Bowl from 2012-2014. Sherman is also a member of the Hall of Fame’s All-2010s Team. The 35-year-old immediately entered sports media following his playing career. He was a pre-game and post-game analyst before shifting to TV work. Sherman replaced longtime co-host Shannon Sharpe as Skip Bayless’ counterpart on Undisputed in August of this year.
CeeDee Lamb’s Struggles
Meanwhile, CeeDee Lamb has stumbled over the past three weeks. The two-time Pro-Bowler has failed to eclipse five receptions in his last three games.
He also has just one touchdown during that span. However, Lamb is still pacing for 92 receptions and 1,217 yards throughout 17 games. Lamb’s one touchdown, however, is of more concern. The six-foot-two wideout hauled in nine touchdown passes in 2022.
