The Los Angeles Rams don’t expect an LB back

The Los Angeles Rams are making a few roster changes before the 2023 season. A recent report came out the Rams are allowing wide receiver Allen Robinson to look for a trade this offseason. The Rams appear eager to find another trade partner for a member of the defense.

According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Rams are expected to release Leonard Floyd if the team cannot find a trade partner for the veteran linebacker. Floyd has been a playmaker on the Rams’ defense, as he’s created nine sacks in the past three seasons.

Rams are expected to release OLB Leonard Floyd if they cannot trade him first, per league sources. Floyd has had at least nine sacks in each of the past three seasons.

The Rams must make some moves to save cap space for next season. According to Over the Cap, the Rams are over $14 million in the red. The Rams could save some space by trading or releasing Floyd and Robinson. One note of interest on Floyd and Robinson, their previous career stop was with the Chicago Bears.
