The Los Angeles Rams could lose a wide receiver

The Los Angeles Rams failed in their quest to defend their Super Title. They didn’t come close to reaching the playoffs in 2022, as the team finished with a 5-12 record. The team was a disappointment all over the field, and one veteran playmaker who joined the team last offseason is being allowed to search for a new team to play for.

According to Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, the Rams have permitted wide receiver Allen Robinson to look for a trade. The Rams are willing to pay some of Robinsons’ $15.25 million salary to make a trade work.

The #Rams have given WR Allen Robinson’s agents permission to seek a trade, and L.A. is willing to pay a portion of Robinson’s $15.25 million guaranteed salary to facilitate a deal, per sources.

Robinson put up dismal numbers in Los Angeles last season. He finished with 339 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Robinson hasn’t had a 1,000-yard receiving season since he was with the Chicago Bears in 2020. His age should help him land on another team, but Robinson is certainly a risky gamble if the Rams aren’t willing to pay most of his guaranteed salary.
