Jonathan Taylor was listed as a full participant in walk-throughs Wednesday for the Indianapolis Colts and is “recovering well” from thumb surgery according to Colts HC Shane Steichen.
The Colts head coach told reporters Wednesday that Taylor will participate in walk-throughs and there remains optimism that he can play this coming week as Indy travels to face the Atlanta Falcons.
#Colts coach Shane Steichen told reporters that RB Jonathan Taylor is progressing well and will participate in the walk-through today (as he's done the last few weeks).
There remains optimism that Taylor will go this week, but he'll be evaluated on a daily basis.

Taylor has appeared in just 7 games this season and has been out since Week 12. Since Taylor has been out Zack Moss has taken the brunt of the rushing assignments, but Moss suffered a forearm injury and did not go through walk-throughs on Wednesday.
Jonathan Taylor Is Getting Healthy At The Right Time?
Jonathan Taylor returning against the Falcons this week would be nice but given solid performances from Trey Sermon last week it would seem unwise for the Colts to rush him out there.
Indianapolis sits at 8-6 and is the current 7-seed if the playoffs started today. After a trip to Atlanta the Colts will finish the season against the Las Vegas Raiders and Houston Texans. The Colts especially will need Taylor healthy for the final game of the season against Houston, which has played well against the run this season and ranks 6th in rushing yards allowed per game.
