Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams has come out and said that he misses his former quarterback Aaron Rodgers who is now with the New York Jets. Adams has voiced his issues with the Raiders throughout the season saying that he thinks he should have more of a key role in the offense. This news came from the man himself on “The Rich Eisen Show” this week and has made fans and analysts wonder if he will seek a trade after all.

Davante Adams’ Comments
The star receiver stated that he and Rodgers both miss each other a lot on the show saying, “Ever since we haven’t been teammates, our relationship has gotten stronger. We try to keep a pretty good line of communication, just because we both obviously miss each other a lot.”
Adams has been a part of many trade scenarios and rumors this season which were shut down by the Raiders after they said that they would not look to trade him away. He even said that he wanted to stay in Las Vegas even though fans and analysts think that he is wasting his career away with them. However, after hearing this statement from Adams, you start to wonder if he is second-guessing his stance.
Adams-Rodgers Duo
Adams and Rodgers were the best quarterback-receiver duo in the league when they played together for the Green Bay Packers. When he had Rodgers as his quarterback, the star receiver went for 622 catches for 7,590 receiving yards and 69 touchdowns. Although he has not been in Las Vegas for that long, he certainly has had nowhere near the production he had with Rodgers as his quarterback.
The Raiders are 3-4 through the first seven weeks of the 2023 season and have struggled offensively in almost every game so far. Adams has gone for just 528 receiving yards and three touchdowns this season and has almost been invisible to the Raiders’ quarterbacks. After these comments he made about his former teammate, will he consider having a reunion with Rodgers and shock the NFL world?
