The Kansas City Chiefs may have to play next season without star wide receiver Rashee Rice. The rookie wideout turned quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ favorite weapon became the center of attention among the NFL world last weekend when he caused a multi-car collision and fled the scene on foot. Rice drove a Lamborghini Urus, which caused the chain reaction collision after driving at high speeds.
On Friday, more news dropped surrounding the incident, with multiple sources reporting that 10.8 grams of marijuana was found in the Lamborghini driven by Rice. The SMU product could face a misdemeanor in the state of Texas due to the amount of marijuana found in the vehicle. The NFL world continues to react to the latest news surrounding Rashee Rice’s soon-to-be legal trouble.
NFL World Reacts to Latest Rashee Rice News
NFL fans, more specifically Kansas City Chiefs fans, continue to lose their minds over the latest news surrounding Rashee Rice and the major car accident he caused last weekend. Rice will likely face punishment from the NFL but could also face repercussions from the law. Rice is not the first star wide receiver to get in trouble with the law for reckless driving. Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs is currently serving prison time for pleading guilty to driving drunk at high speeds, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Tina Tintor.
Fans are not holding back on Rice, especially with his incident happening just three years after Ruggs endured his high-speed collision.
