It has been a busy week for the Pittsburgh Steelers. On Sunday night, they brought in veteran quarterback Russell Wilson on a one-year deal and then signed Baltimore Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen a few days later.
Many people praised the Steelers for making the Wilson and Queen move, but one national radio host didn’t praise anyone in the Steel City this week.
Adam Schein Was Not A Fan Of The Pittsburgh Steelers Big Move
Madog Sports Radio Host Adam Schein said, “How in the world will Russell Wilson take the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road and beat the Baltimore Ravens? How is that going to happen? Spoiler alert: it’s fantasy world. It’s not going to happen.”

Schein is not a fan of Russell Wilson and also stated the phrase let Russ cook which many fans were saying in Seattle because they wanted to see Wilson air the ball out instead of handing it off, is more like Russ is cooked because he hasn’t been good the last two seasons.
Schein also said he hates Wilson’s fit with Pittsburgh and that there is a reason nobody else in the NFL really wanted him; he’s not convinced he is better than Kenny Pickett or Mason Rudolph.
The radio host finished his rant by saying that the Steelers are nothing more than a last-place team in the AFC North, with the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals being better than them.
Schein Is Spot On With His Points
I have to agree with Schein here. Wilson is not even close to the quarterback he was in Seattle, and he needs someone to throw the ball to. Wide receiver George Pickens is solid, and tight end Pat Freiermuth is okay, but who else will he air the ball out to now that Diontae Johnson has been traded to the Carolina Panthers?
The Ravens, Bengals, and maybe even the Browns have a clear quarterback advantage over the Steelers, and the Ravens and Browns even have the better defenses, so what is Pittsburgh’s claim to fame in the division to get them to win the AFC North?
Last year, Pittsburgh caught a break when Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow got injured in the middle of the season and missed the remainder. That allowed the Steelers to get a Wild Card spot in the playoffs, where they lost to the Buffalo Bills.
Pittsburgh will have a typical eight—to nine-win season next year, and maybe they can luck their way into some wins.
