Penn State was feeling great about themselves heading into their Week Ten game against Ohio State. The Nittany Lions had yet to suffer a loss on the season, while Ohio State already had one in the loss column, losing to Oregon a few weeks ago.
Even though Ohio State hasn’t dropped a game in Happy Valley since 2016, many thought this would be the season it would finally happen, but the Buckeyes came out ready to play after their first drive of the game.

Ohio State would win 20-13, but many Nittany Lions fans weren’t happy with the officiating and said they gave the game to Ohio State.
Penn State fans need to wake up and realize they had every opportunity to win the game, and the refs played no outcome in the Ohio State win.
The Nittany Lions got an early pick-six to go up 10-0, ran five plays from the Ohio State three-yard line, and walked away with zero points twice, but somehow, it’s the official’s fault they lost the game.
Penn State Fans Reactions

Penn State fans need to do better and stop blaming their team’s losses on the refs. Many took to social media to explain how the officials helped Ohio State win.
Penn State was robbed on this play.
It was a catch and a fumble. pic.twitter.com/pvplEZD7cX

Hard enough trying to beat Ohio State.
Nearly impossible to beat the refs too.

How is that enough to overturn????
How???
These refs are going out of their way to protect their golden child from Columbus

Penn state vs Ohio state and refs 💀

Horrible defense by #PennState at the end, but just an absolutely pathetic call by the officiating crew to keep that drive alive, especially after the broadcast crew ball washed the refs excusing a clear Ohio State penalty(s) saying they’re “letting them play today.”

Refs gifting this game to OSU
They want as many teams in the playoff as possible

It sucks when the officiating is the story of a game, but it’s impossible to not bring up the refs for Penn State-Ohio State.
