Penn State was hit with reality again on Satruday when they couldn’t beat Ohio State after the Buckeyes walked into Happy Valley and brought home the 20-13 win.
Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin has not beaten the Buckeyes since 2016, and many fans are done with him.
During the Penn State loss on Satruday, they had the ball at Ohio State’s three-yard line twice on first down a goal and walked away with zero points, and if they could’ve put the ball in the endzone both times, they would’ve won.
Ohio State’s quarterback Will Howard even gave the Nittany Lions a gift on their first drive, throwing a pick-six to go up 10-0, and they would only score three more points the rest of the afternoon.
Penn State Fans Go After Franklin
As Franklin was walking off the field and heading back to the locker room, fans started screaming fire Franklin chants right at him.

Franklin is now 1-10 against Ohio State and 1-13 against AP Top Five teams, which is a horrible record. That said, there is still a great chance Penn State will make the playoffs this season and could even make a run toward the Final Four.
Who knows if Franklin will be fired after the season is over, but there is also a great chance he won’t be with the team if the Florida head coaching job opens up and they decide to go after him.
